Is HealthyWage a scam or can you make some cash with it?Â
In this HealthyWage review, Iâll be bringing into the open a diet trend that has been going on for years and where people actually get paid to lose weight.Â
I know that some of you might be skeptical about this app and thatâs completely fine because I was too. Truth be told, when I first heard about HealthyWage, it sounded too good to be true.
I had to lose a couple of pounds to get a couple of checks? Puff, sign me up.Â
Unfortunately, things didnât work out as I thought they would, and I didnât even get a chance to prove my dieting skills. Why, you ask? Because Iâm not the chubbiest person and completing this challenge would have made me look like a matchstick.
This app is for anyone that wants to shed off the excess pounds, but luckily (or unfortunately đ¤đ¤Ź) I didnât have them on me. Still, I couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to see what this app was all about and find out what others had to say about it.Â
When my research was all said and done, I could comfortably say that the HealthyWage app is legit, but itâs only meant for people that want to lose +20 pounds; otherwise, thereâs no point in using it since the risk to reward ratio is not worth it. Â
Stick with me until the end of this review, see what I have to say, and Iâm sure that youâll have more than enough information to decide whether you should use it or steer clear from it and look for something else instead.
What is the HealthyWage App?
Studies have shown that financial incentives work to lose weight and motivate people to stick to their long term goals and achieve their slimming targets more efficiently.
HealthyWage is just that.Â
An app that gives you a chance to bet against yourself. You challenge yourself by setting a weight objective and putting your money on the line. You can win up to ten thousand dollars in cash prize if the aim is met, and if not, you lose all of it.
How Does HealthyWage Work?Â
HealthyWage is relatively easy to use, and the rules are clear. You bet some cash, set your goals, and get to work.Â
After signing the agreement, you are kind of stuck, which means that you have no choice but to follow through with the challenge. You are forced to stay motivated or lose the bet.Â
During the process, you are left on your own, and the HealthyWage team wonât bother to get in touch with you. You choose how you want to lose weight, whether youâre choosing exercise or that extreme fat-burner keto diet that you saw on TV. Â
The guys over at HealthyWage are not your trainers, and they wonât help you to melt away those extra pounds. They are simply an incentive to lose the weight, and the rest is on you.Â
First You Need to Calculate Your PrizeÂ
The first thing youâll be asked to do once you land on their site is to use the HealthyWage calculator so you can figure out your prize. Itâs there to tell you how much money you can earn if you reach or surpass your goal.Â
You also need to answer a couple of basic questions like how many pounds do you want to lose, how much time do you need to reach your goal, and whatâs the amount of money you want to bet per month. Â
After youâve answered all three, the calculator will spit out a prize for you, which you can gladly accept or decline. Remember that once you agree, thereâs no turning back. Otherwise, youâll lose all your money.Â
If youâre set on losing weight, then my advice to you would be to bet an amount that would hurt you if you missed it. No one will be bothered for losing fifty bucks, and neither will you. Betting the right amount will make sure you commit to your goal and follow through with your dieting plan. If you bet something meaningless to you, then thereâs a higher chance of you withdrawing from the challenge.Â
Once youâve set your goal and youâre happy with the cash prize, then itâs time to get down to work. From this point on, youâll be on your own, and everything you do will determine whether you win the prize or not.Â
The average winner at HealthyWage loses 18.46 kilograms and gets paid $1.245, so if you think you got what it takes to make it, then go for it and donât look back.Â
I used the calculator, and my price turned out to be a whopping $2.369. I put $100 for eleven months straight and I said that I would lose 45 kilos in less than eleven months.Â
If I were to win, I would have gained $1.269, which turns out to be a %115.44 return on investment. I donât know about you, but that seems like a winnable bet to me. Â

Is HealthyWage Legit?Â
So, is HealthyWage a scam or?Â
HealthyWage has a consumer rating of more than four stars on sitejabber.com which indicates that itâs a legit site and that thereâs money to be made with it.Â
You also need to bear in mind that there are also a couple of negative reviews, but this is quite normal and expected since not everyone that makes a bet manages to lose the weight.Â
I found this review on YouTube, where this woman claims that she was quite surprised to get her money straight away without having to deal with nonsense coming from the HealthyWage team.Â
At first, she thought that they would reject her weight-in and make a bunch of silly statements that she cheated or things of that sort.Â
She was expecting a fight but instead got a check for more than two thousand dollars two weeks after completing the challenge.Â
She gave the company a five-star review and said that she wouldnât change a thing about the program. She didnât have any issues with the payout, which points out that HealthyWage is a legit company and that they are precisely what they claim to be.Â
How to Verify Your WeightÂ
I know that some of you might be thinking âItâs so easy to scam HealthyWage, I just need to add a few extra kilos on my initial weigh-inâŚâ, but unfortunately is not as easy as it sounds.
You will need to verify your weight by using the Healthwage App at the beginning and end of your weight loss journey. Youâll be asked to record yourself while doing the weigh-in and all you have to do is show that youâre not hiding any weight on your body and that the scale is calibrated to zero and functions correctly. Â
You wonât be able to cheat because a referee will remotely view your weight-in through the app. The only way of cheating would be to add a couple of extra pounds in your ballsack, which I highly suggest you avoid doing. đÂ
