Is Find Dream jobs a scam or is it the real deal?Ā
Gone are the days when job applicants needed to scour newspaper classifieds and watch out for āwe are hiringā posters.
With convenient advances in the field of technology, employers are directly hiring and processing candidates through the use of online job boards and platforms.Ā
In fact, online job search aggregators are the natural first port of call for most job seekers. But before you key in your personal information, resume, and cover letter, be sure that you have reviewed the websitesā reputation to avoid being scammed.Ā
I know exactly how it feels when you come across a listing that offers to pay extremelyĀ well along with its huge number of benefits. With eagerness, you will instantly send your application without thinking twice about whether the employer, job board or the website itself is legit.Ā
You see, the truth is, the internet is filled with websites that are either fake, fraudulent or a scam. Design-wise, the landing page of most websites may seem professional as it intends to lure its target market.
But have you checked beyond the sign-up page? If not, then you probably need to dig in for more information.Ā
In this review, we are going to take a look at Find Dream Jobs and investigate whether it is a scam or a real job listing aggregator.
Do note though that I am not associated with the aforesaid company in any form, so you can rest asured thatĀ I won’t try to pitch you by telling you to join this “fabulous money-promising” site.Ā
I am not here to convince or sell their services to you. On the contrary, I am here to share nothing but my honest opinion with you!Ā
What is Find Dream Jobs?
Find Dream Jobs is operated by Search Works Media, LLC, which is based in Delaware, USA. This website is an online platform that enables job seekers to find the best opportunities available online.
It serves as a virtual employment marketplace that facilitates the matching of aspiring applicants and reputable job employers in the area.
It is operated by Search Works Media, LLC to comprehensively compile job listings from a wide range of career websites.
Through this, employers are expected to attract the right talent by advertising their jobs with complete details regarding the required qualifications, responsibilities, benefits, and salary.
Once posted, Find Dream Jobs will expose the listing to the pool of signed-up candidates within the website. Additionally, it also provides articles and resources that can certainly help in launching your dream career. For the candidates looking for their perfect dream job, you probably have come across this website at least once during your online job hunting.
Upon clicking on their main website, youāll be greeted by its dedicated search engine that will connect you to all the available jobs.
To get access and view the robust job database, you have to create your account by entering a bit of your personal information- complete name, zip code, and phone number.
You will also be tasked to answer survey type questions to complete your account. Based on the Find Dream Jobsā FAQ, your answers from the surveys will serve as the parameter that will be used by the websiteās algorithm in recommending job listings available.
With your consent, your answers will also be shared with their marketing partners who may contact you via email or through the phone. These marketing partners compensate Find Dream Jobs every time it connects with an interested customer.
Once done, you will finally be able to have a glimpse of the available job listings in your area; some of which are connected to well-known companies like Amazon.
Likewise, if you have a specific job title or the desired company in mind, you can use the websiteās search feature to target what you are looking for.
HOW DOES FIND DREAM JOBS WORK?Ā
Browsing the website for a few minutes can help you in double-checking the integrity of the site. As a general tip: you may want to visit its āAbout usā page and FAQ section to read about the company and its services. For the case of Find Dream Jobs, I observed the following things:
Since it is a job listing aggregator, it pulls a bunch of vacancies from all over the internet based on your results from the survey.
Many of the openings here are linked to established and well-known companies, but what makes it a bit suspicious is the presence of illegitimate listings and spam.
As I have said earlier, to get access to the job listings, you will have to sign up by entering a valid email address as well as your complete name, address, and date of birth.
You will also be tasked to build your standout resume and answer survey questions related to your educational level and competencies. Your answers can help in narrowing down the available jobs in your area.
Based on the websiteās fine print, the survey answers will also be shared with the websiteās marketing partners in exchange for the comprehensive job listings.
With that being said, you have to prepare yourself since there is a huge possibility that you will receive unsolicited emails and robocalls about services and products that are tailored fit based on your survey answers.
One thing that I have also personally experienced is that some posts seem to suck the users in a redirection loop-sending one back and forth to different websites without being able to see the real job posting.
What is even more alarming is that there are also posts that will straightforwardly ask you to provide again your phone number, email address, and actual home address to be redirected to the job listing.
Fortunately, some job posts will lead you to authentic company websites where you can continue the application process.
WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF JOBS AVAILABLE?
Instead of trawling numerous sites, Find Dream Jobs feature job links to third-party websites which are of course independent of the site.
The landing page features the top 10 trending job categories that will give you an idea of the new and emerging skills based on the current trends in the labour market and technology industry.
Since it compiles listings from job boards, company career pages, and recruiter sites, the type of jobs available is updated to present brand new opportunities.
There are different jobs available but do note that there is no fixed rate for the posted jobs.
As a word of advice, please understand that the website is just an aggregator. There is no verification and review of the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of what it compiles.
With that being said, the site may indeed contain authentic and inauthentic posts. And as stated in the Find Dream Jobsā terms and conditions, āwhen you apply for a job, you do so at your own risk.ā
Is Find Dream Jobs Legit? Can You Score A REAL Job? š¤
The big question that we must answer is this- āwhat are the chances of scoring a legitimate job through the website?ā Let me preface it with the following:Ā
- As with any other job aggregators, the potentiality of finding a position is based on job availability and client preference. Using the website will not guarantee you a spot just because you signed up.
Ā
- Because Find Dream Jobs helps in finding relevant listings across different websites, job seekers can streamline their search into a single website. With that being said, the use of this website can save you a lot of time.
Ā
- You can score a job through the site as long as you do your research and keep track of whether the posting is legitimate or not. Independent verification of employer and company details is a much-needed skill to authenticate any post you come across with using the site.
Ā
- You may be able to land your dream job through the Find Dream Jobs since it has an updated list of vacancies from companies that may interest you (based on your survey answers).Ā
WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT FIND DREAM JOBS
Before you consider signing up with the website, let me share with you some of the things I dislike. First and foremost, I realize that there is restricted access to their website.
It seems that the website is mainly targeting users from America since it proves too inaccessible in other countries. I had to utilize a VPN to review the site.
By the time the websiteās landing page loaded, I had to practice my patience with the lengthy process of setting up the resume and answering the survey questions.
Lastly, since the job is filled with third party sites, a huge number of clicks are needed to get to the target page. There are instances wherein upon clicking on your desired job; you will be redirected to another website which will require you to answer yet another lengthy survey.
So, Is Find Dream Jobs a Scam?Ā
The final verdict is NO, Find Dream Jobs is not a scam.
Many of the listings from Find Dream Jobs are real since they are all pulled from various websites on the internet, but remember that you need to proceed with caution.Ā
It is also true that some posts may lead to a scam job post since the website does not have a review process for the aggregated list. I do understand that other people may find this as a scam due to its connection with its media partners.Ā
As a defense for the site, they have stipulated it clearly in the terms and conditions that by signing up, you are willingly disclosing some of your private details in exchange for the job posting list.Ā
If you are not in the market for the aforementioned consequence, you may want to visit other top aggregators such as Indeed, Simply Hired, and Career Jet.Ā
I’d love to borrow two minutes of your time just so I can share with you my most recommended way of earning online. I’ve even prepared aĀ nice detailed review of and I’m sure you’ll like it.Ā
If you are interested in working online, you can check on myĀ Wealthy Affiliate Review and discover a lot of ways to earn money online rather than doing job hunting.Ā
It’s the exact platform that has helped me build this blog and that can help you plant and grow a $6000 a month source of passive income online. I’ve been a member of the above stated platform for quite some time now and I can personally vouch for the content that’s inside of it.
The knowledge that I acquired from Wealthy Affilaite was more than enough to show me how to get you to land on this page and read my Find Dream Jobs review, meaning that the training actually works.
I don’t want to bother you much, just make sure you check out my review so you can see how everyday people are earning four figures of passive income in their first year of starting. It shouldn’t take you more than five minutes to go through, but trust me when I say that those five minutes can be crucial and lifechanging for you.
I hope I was able to give justice in explaining whether Find Dream Jobs is a scam or not. If you have any concerns and suggestions, just leave that on the comment section box below and I will answer them as soon as I can. š
One of the worst sites EVER!! And, to make matters even worse, they sell your information to a thousand marketers.
I OPTED OUT of them being able to sell my info. They sent me a confirmation email regarding the opt-out!
Five seconds later, I start to receive thousands of emails, calls, etc. All from dream jobs marketing partners!! TOTAL SCAM!
I’ve been getting a ton of similar complaints lately. It might be time to update my review!
Thanks for sharing your experience with me, Chris!
Appreciating the hard work you put into your website and the detailed information you offer. Itās nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isnāt the same out of date rehashed material.
Fantastic read! Iāve saved your site, and Iām including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
It’s always a blessing to see praise like yours. Thank you for the kind words, and please know that they are very much appreciated!
I tend to be a little apprehensive about aggregators as I see them as data mining operations with only their own interests at heart; make money from everyone they can.
If you can’t necessarily see a product, then you are the product.
You said it best and it doesn’t get any more truthful than that! If I don’t see a product, then I’m perhaps it…
Thank you so much for doing this review. As you say the program may not be a scam, but it should be taken with caution. One thing really stood out to me was the fact that the jobs website was not available outside of the US. I live in Europe and I don’t like using VPNs all the time. I think it may lead to some illegal issues. For now I will stay away from these job opportunities.
You certainly won’t have any legal issues, but VPN’s can be annoying sometimes. I recommend you check out Indeed instead!
Thanks for the thorough review! I’ve noticed many of these job sites are just full of ads these days and it’s hard to spot the actual job listings. I guess I’ll give find dream jobs a go then!
You do so, but be vigilant.
I am not familiar with this particular job search platform, but the information you have provided will surely help many people. Especially in these times, those seeking paid employment will be able to use this to make an informed decision on their job search. I have nothing against these recruitment platforms, but when some of them make the process such a burden I don’t think it is fair on the candidate doing the job search. So it is great you have taken the time to help people by providing this detailed review – some people just need employment as a way to have an income – and your suggestion for them to take a look at WA is also useful because I always recommend that where one can have income coming in from a paid employment, they can plough some of the earnings into a side hustle until they can finally quit the 9-5 grind! A great post, thank you.
Hey Ola, I like the way you’re thinking…plough some of the earning into a side hustle and finally quit the 9-5 grind. You’re my type of person and I’m glad you enjoyed my Find Dream Jobs review. š„š„š„
First and foremost, what is a dream job? Those dream jobs do not ext in my opinion!
I have used these sites many times over the years and what they all have in common normally is that they all promote the same jobs.
A front-end that funnels through to other agency sites.
Considering our current worldwide crisis I guess these sites will now be working overtime.
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for sharing your opinion Mick, but I have to disagree with you. Dream jobs do exist, but each person has his own perception of what his/hers dream job is. I always wanted to earn from the comfort of my home and I considered that as a dream job. Thanks to Wealthy Affiliate I was able to achieve just that and I’m now living my life on my own terms.
As for these jobs aggregator site, I don’t personally like them because you can easily fall for the scams that are on them. You’re better off visiting some of the above mentioned site like Indeed, etc…
Great post, thereās definitely a lot of information out there regarding how to get that dream job, lots of it not all good advice.
Thereās lots people can do here to help them out. Good stuff.
Thanks LJ, I’m glad you liked it. Spend some time, I’m sure you’ll find tons of great content! (so narcissistic of me š)
Hey,
This is a really interesting and informative article. I agree with you that Find Dream Jobs isn’t a scam. However, I am not a fan of these type of job platforms. I have used job agencies before and I have had some good job offers out of them, and I’m pretty sure that this would be pretty good for a lot of people. I myself would prefer to look at the actual company site to look for jobs they have vacant. But it’s ok for me because I know what type of job I am looking for, where many people all over the world don’t. So they would certainly benefit from these types of sites.
So, I am not against them and they’re not scams, but they just don’t work for me.
Thank you for sharing and keep up your great reviews.
All the best,
Tom
Hey Tom, happy to see you become a frequent reader of my blog! Will do, appreciate the kind words! š
Hello!
Thank you for this review! I would consider giving this service a try, but the fact that they ask you for so much information beforehand combined with the fact that it does host scams makes me a little leery – I already receive SO many robocalls all the time; I don’t think I can take another flood of calls if the site does sell my info to 3rd parties. It sounds like you did sign up for the service to try it out. Did you receive an influx of robocalls despite (I assume?) avoiding giving info to the scams that are present?
Yeah, I did. What these sites usually do is:
1. take your personal information
2. share it with 3rd party job sites
3. BOMBARD you with more spam after that…
So if you’re not prepared to handle spam, they it might best to avoid signing up!
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment Jade. All the best to you! š
Your review of Find Dream Jobs is certainly a light beacon for so many that are frustrated searching for a job in these tough times. I like the fact that you are very impartial and clearly mention the option, while also giving the eye-opening advice.
I personally try to stay away of anything that requires my personal data, unless they establish clear policies to protect it.
I ended here because I am looking for a way to make money from home and you are showing some good alternatives here as well, worth to take a look.
I will check them out and I will ask you more about.
Thank you.
Hey Pablo, I’m happy you enjoyed my review and I’ll be delighted to welcome you inside Wealthy Affilaite. Since the platform is free to join, my advice to all newcomers is to give it a shot and see if they like it. If it works for them – cool ; if not, no string attached and they can continue their search somewhere else. š
