This post should be more than enough to teach you how to downgrade your Clickfunnels account from the premium subscription plan to the standard one. I’m quite sure you will handle this task with ease since Clickfunnels has one of the most user-friendly dashboards when compared to its competitors.
I bet you’d be furious to wake up one morning and to find out that Clickfunnels have charged you $297 instead of the regular price of $97 per month. The best chance to get your money back is to contact the Clickfunnels support team and break down the entire scenario in hopes that they will refund you.
I’m not saying this will work, but it’s worth trying. And if it does, you’ll be back to your regular schedule in no time, and you can continue your journey to make as much money on the internet as possible.
How to Downgrade Your Clickfunnels Account
It should take you less than five minutes to complete this task, and if you’re experiencing difficulties, feel free to leave me a comment down below, and I will give my best to respond in a timely fashion.
I’ve broken the entire procedure into four simple steps, and I’ve even added an extra section on how you can save some money in the long run with Clickfunnels. Without further ado, let’s begin with step number one.
Step #1: The first thing you need to do is log into your Clickfunnels account by clicking on this link that will redirect you to the official Clickfunnels login page.
Step #2: Move your cursor and hover over your profile picture that is located at the top right corner of your screen and select the first option that says “Account Setting.”
Step #3: You will be taken to a page that looks like the one underneath where you need to select Account Billing from the left navigation menu. Once you’ve chosen it, you need to click on the whitish button that says, “Choose a Different Plan.”
Step #4: You’re nearly finished with downgrading your Clickfunnels account. This is the last step where you need to decide which plan works best for you. Feel free to select the plan that you think will benefit you the most.

How to Pause Your Clickfunnels Account
Many people thought that you couldn’t pause your Clickfunnels account, and they were entirely wrong. This section of the post will show you how to put your account on hold and leave it aside until you’re ready to use it again.
Step #1: Go back to the same place where you downgraded your account. Just to remind you, you need to open the Account Billing tab, but instead of downgrading it, you need to click on the Cancel Account button. Step #2: Take the short survey and give your reasoning for leaving the platform. Your opinion matters to Clickfunnels since it will provide them with the feedback that they need to improve their services for future customers.
Step #3: This is the third and final step where you need to decide whether you want to cancel or pause your Clickfunnels account. If you choose to pause your account instead of deleting it, you will still be charged a small sum of $9.99 per month.
Why Should You Downgrade Your Clickfunnels Membership
You can afford to invest in tools as your revenue increases. These tools are vital for your success, and you’ll have a hard time succeeding without them. It’s kind of hard to imagine a plumber without his wrench, and the same goes for your online business as well.
Everyone has different goals and intentions when they sign up for Clickfunnels, but if you do the math correctly and use the tool as you should, then you should pay for it with ease.
Some use it so they can benefit from the use of funnels and grow their online businesses as much as possible, while others use it to promote their products and services online or to manage their e-commerce stores. In my view, Clickfunnels is a terrific web-page builder, and I use it to educate people on how to grow their online businesses and achieve their financial goals with the help of funnels. It also assists me in creating affiliate marketing campaigns where I promote someone else’s product for a commission.
And before you just into conclusions, I want you to know that I completely understand that some of you might be coming from third world countries where the price of a nearly hundred dollars a month can seem like a hell of a lot more.
That’s why I want to point you in the right direction and share a couple of great resources that you can use to see success with this funnel builder much faster and cover for all of your costs without any difficulties.
If you’re serious and want to see success with Clickfunnels, then I suggest you grab a free book copy of some of Russel’s books like DotCom Secrets and Experts Secrets. And if you have some cash to spend, then you should check out the One Funnel Away Challenge.
REASON NUMBER 1
I wrote this article in the assumption that you’re subscribed to the premium plan. At the moment, I can’t think of a better reason to downgrade your account that you being a beginner at this.
Perhaps the reason why you want to lower your account is that you’re a complete newbie, and you’re having a hard time succeeding as a funnel builder. Once again, the best chance to become successful at this is to learn from somebody that has already been through it. Check out the training that I recommended just a second ago and upgrade your account once you feel like you’ve got the hang of it.
REASON NUMBER 2
Please know that if you decide to downgrade your account, you will also lose access to the Actionetics and Backpack feature. The Actionetics feature unlocks all the e-mail automation tools within Clickfunnels, while the Backpack one is for more advanced marketers, and I’m quite sure you won’t need it for now.
Don’t get disappointed since there are plenty of other autoresponders out there that can easily replace the Actionetics feature, and the one that I recommend you try instead is called GetResponse.
It’s one of the most popular e-mail automation software available on the market today, and it has incredibly low prices that start at $15 per month. You can do the math and you’ll realize that it turns out to be a hell of a lot less than $297.
Why Should You Stick with The Premium Membership
Removing all of the unnecessary tools from your business can save you a ton of cash in the long run. It doesn’t make any sense to keep them, especially if you’re only using half of the functions available.
You’re better off investing your money somewhere else, but I still think there are a couple of reasons why you should stick with the premium membership.
REASONING NUMBER 1
The premium membership may be expensive, but it also comes with a lot of cool features. You’re not limited to the number of funnels you can build, and the plan itself is more suitable if you’re running an agency.
You’re also allowed to use the share funnel feature, which will enable you to share your funnels with colleagues and other companions. And just to let you know, they don’t have to have a Clickfunnels account for this to work.
REASONING NUMBER 2
This is, without a doubt, my number one reason why I think you should stick with the premium membership. I’m not sure if you knew, but e-mail marketing has been around for ‘ages,’ and there’s a good reason for that.
Communicating with your leads through e-mails lets you bond with them through a very direct and personal channel. And what I love the most about the Actionetics feature is the fact that it has one of the highest deliverability rates when compared to other e-mail automation tools.
The reason for this is because you have your own dedicated SMTP, and you won’t have to rely on the yucky ones that most e-mail services provide you with. Your e-mail marketing will be on point, and you won’t have to worry whether your subscribers received your e-mails or not.
